Feeling lost in the SEN system? We help you understand where you are and what to do next.

Clear, calm guidance for parents navigating schools, referrals, and EHCP pathways.

Caught between systems?

The SEN journey often feels like a puzzle with missing pieces. Parents frequently find themselves coordinating between multiple agencies that don’t always speak the same language, leading to confusion, stress, and avoidable delays in support.

Schools & SENDCos: Understanding legal duties and the graduated response before a diagnosis is even made.

GPs & Specialists: Navigating long waitlists and ensuring clinical evidence is linked to educational need.

Local Authorities: Understanding the EHCP application process, legal timelines, and your rights as a parent.

Mental Health Services: Interpreting professional language and finding your place in the CAMHS pathway.

Oscar Harper – Co-Founder

Oscar co-founded ODDAC after seeing how difficult the SEND system can be for families to navigate. He spent seven years working in a school as both a teacher and a one‑to‑one teaching assistant supporting children with Special Educational Needs, giving him first‑hand insight into the challenges faced by both pupils and parents. Having also been diagnosed with ADHD, Oscar has a personal understanding of neurodiversity and the importance of the right support. After leaving education and completing a degree in Philosophy, he trained as a detective within the police before moving into a role supporting job seekers in the technology industry. Through ODDAC, he aims to help parents better understand the SEND process and feel more confident advocating for their child.

Charlotte Wood – Co-Founder

Charlotte co-founded ODDAC to provide parents with clear, accessible support when navigating the SEND system.   Charlotte previously worked for three and a half years as a one‑to‑one SEN Teaching Assistant, supporting children with additional needs and gaining first‑hand experience of the challenges families face within the education system. For over 3 years, she worked in Adult Social Care, supporting adults with mental health and substance misuse needs, many of whom also had autism or learning disabilities. This role gave her valuable insight into how local authorities operate, the policies that guide support services, and how professionals across systems work together. Charlotte is also currently studying for a degree in Psychology, further developing her understanding of mental health, behaviour, and neurodiversity.
