Terms & Conditions

1. Who We Are

ODDAC is a UK-based group dedicated to helping parents and families navigate the Special Educational Needs (SEN) system. Our aim is to provide clarity and guidance during what can be a challenging process.

2. Guidance, Not Medical or Legal Advice

All information provided on our website or through our support services is for general information and guidance purposes only. We are not lawyers, doctors, or clinical psychologists. Our support does not constitute legal advice, medical diagnosis, or therapeutic intervention. You should always seek professional advice from qualified legal or medical practitioners regarding your child's specific circumstances.

3. Parental Responsibility & Outcomes

While we strive to provide the most accurate and helpful guidance, ODDAC cannot guarantee specific outcomes (such as the success of an EHCP application or school placement). Parents remain fully responsible for any decisions made regarding their child's education or care. We are here to support your advocacy, but the ultimate choice and responsibility for action rest with you.

4. Eligibility & Acceptable Use

Our site and services are designed for parents and carers of children with SEN. You agree to use the site only for lawful purposes. You must not use our platform to engage in any abusive, illegal, or harmful activity. Misuse of our content, including any attempt to disrupt the site's security, is strictly prohibited.

5. Bookings, Programmes & Payments

Bookings for calls or support programmes are subject to availability. Payments must be made in full as outlined during the booking process. Detailed terms regarding cancellations, refunds, or specific programme requirements will be provided at the point of booking or within your specific support plan.

6. Intellectual Property & Content

All content on this site is the property of ODDAC unless otherwise stated. To help other families, we may occasionally use anonymised examples or general case studies derived from our work. We will never share identifiable personal data without your explicit written consent, in line with UK privacy laws.

7. Third-Party Tools & Links

We use third-party tools to facilitate bookings, process payments, and provide communication services (e.g., email and video calls). While we choose reputable partners, we are not responsible for the availability or terms of these external platforms. Third-party links provided on our site are for convenience and do not imply endorsement.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ODDAC shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential losses resulting from your use of the site or reliance on our guidance, except where such liability cannot be excluded under English law (e.g., for personal injury or fraud).

9. Changes to Terms & Governing Law

We may update these terms from time to time. Your continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new terms. These conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be handled exclusively in the courts of England and Wales.
